IFPUG Vice President
Julián Gómez is Vice President of IFPUG and Board Liaison for the Communications and Marketing Committee. He is a Computer Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in software measurement, IT project and service management, software productivity, digital transformation and technology strategy.
At LedaMC and Quanter, he serves as Chief Digital & Artificial Intelligence Officer, leading initiatives that combine Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics and software metrics to improve productivity, decision-making and business value delivery.
Julián has been actively involved with IFPUG for many years, contributing to the international promotion and adoption of its standards. He holds the CFPS, CSS, PMP and COSMIC certifications and has extensive experience in Function Points, software estimation, benchmarking and productivity management.
He is the author of books on software measurement and project leadership, including “The Game of Thrones of Projects: 15 Master Lessons on Leadership and Successful Project Management”, and creator of the technology blog El Laboratorio de las TI.
As an international speaker, Julián has delivered presentations, seminars and training sessions in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Italy, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania and Spain. He has also collaborated as a speaker with Project Management Institute (PMI) chapters, including the PMI Madrid Spain, PMI Panamá and PMI Puerto Rico, sharing his experience in project management, leadership, digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence.
