Improving Software Cost Estimation Accuracy

Knowledge Café Webinar Series

Hello Friends,

IFPUG is excited to announce our first-ever webinar in Japanese language for the software measurement community in Japan.

We’re bringing the global knowledge of Function Points and software measurement closer to home with a special session entirely in Japanese.

Ryo Takahashi, an expert in developing cost estimation methods, will share his experience implementing these practices within his company.

This webinar will highlight his company’s efforts to reduce the number of software development projects that exceed the project’s budget. Improving the accuracy of cost estimates is important to reduce the number of those projects. They developed a software size estimation method that even non-project members, like working in the HQ, can complement the specifications of target project and estimate software size. As a result of using this method, the number of software development projects that exceed project budget has been decreasing gradually
