IFPUG is excited to introduce Paola Billia as the new Chair of the International Membership Committee (IMC). She has assumed the role from Loami Barros who has joined the IFPUG Board of Directors.
Paola has over 30 years of experience in ICT project delivery and has worked in a variety of roles, including business analyst, developer, tester, and project management. She specializes in measurement, estimation, and process improvement, advising and mentoring project teams and clients in industries such as Telco and Media, Public Administration, Energy, and Banking. Paola has made significant contributions to the field of software measurement. She has been on the GUFPI-ISMA (IFPUG Affiliate) board since 2017 and joined the UNI/ICT 526 committee in 2018 contributing to the issuance of the standard governing the professional profile of the “measurement specialist” (UNI 11621-6:2021). In June 2022, Paola joined the International Membership Committee of IFPUG.
