We learn from our experiences, good or bad. We can also learn from other people as they share their knowledge and experience’s. IFPUG has a highly valued user community and one of the key elements to its success is the sharing of information. We invite you to submit an article sharing your experiences with software metrics and measurement. No matter how big or small, your story may provide the answers to what other IFPUG member’s questions. Need ideas? Measurement programs, benchmarking, use of Function Points, SNAP, all make good topics. Become a published author by contributing to MetricViews (the biannual IFPUG publication) today.
Please submit your articles to [email protected]. Articles should be no more than 2500 words. If you are unsure if you have an acceptable topic, you can submit an abstract for prior approval. All articles will require a title, an author name (and any CFPS or CFPP certifications), author bio (approx. 125 words) and a high-quality author photo (150 width x 175 height). All graphs/pictures included in the article must be high quality. IFPUG reserves the right to edit all articles for clarity, grammar and typographical errors.
Complete articles are due by 31 December 2019. Authors will be notified if their article has been accepted for this issue of MetricsViews between 10 and 17 January 2020.
