MEMBERSHIP TYPES

There are three membership categories: Regular, Affiliate, and Academic.

Regular Memberships
Regular Memberships are the primary form of membership in IFPUG. They confer full membership rights and privileges on their holders. Within the Regular Membership category there are currently three types of membership: Individual, Corporate and Worldwide Corporate.

Affiliate Memberships
Affiliate Memberships provided a group interested in software metrics, and willing to subscribe and support the goals and policies of IFPUG, a simple way to join with Regular IFPUG members in advancing the art of software metrics. Within the Affiliate Membership category there are currently two types of membership: Affiliate I, and Affiliate II.

Note: IFPUG is currently reviewing its membership categories and is not currently accepting any applications for new Affiliate memberships. Current Affiliate 1 and 2 groups may renew as the membership category they currently possess.

Academic Memberships
Academic Memberships are offered to university and college faculty, and students, as a way to encourage the teaching and use of Function Points. Within the Academic Membership category there are currently two types of membership: University/College, and Student.

Each membership type is described in more detail on the pages you can access by clicking on an appropriate menu item listed to the left. An Application form and a Dues/Fees schedule may also be accessed in the same manner.
